When I was in high school, I was a Classically trained singer who had been performing professionally since I was 11 years old. I knew I loved music, but I didn't want to go to college for music. I wanted to find something creative, that also aligned with my other passions: gaming and technology (I've built computers since I was 13.) That's when American History class put a spotlight on the TV and Film industry for me. During the great depression, an all time low for most american's lives, people went to the theater. I wanted to be a part of this industry because I could be apart of creating content that can help people to escape, to grow, and feel.
The industry and the world has evolved a lot since then, and its still changing. I pride myself on my ability to continue learning, teach others, and keep adapting to every evolution. I work not only to create great content, but to collaborate and find compromise with people of differing perspectives to make creative works that are better than anything we can make alone. I love to optimize processes to take away the burden of administrative business and open up bandwidth for creatives to create. I've been a vocal leader, advocate, and collaborator in creative spaces for over a decade and I'm looking for opportunities to bring my perspective to teams looking to create top tier content while fostering an environment of trust and teamwork.
